(Maternity Leave Position)

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on a temporary maternity leave contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about oral health and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients in a welcoming and collaborative environment. This opportunity may lead to a full-time position.
About the Role
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental care while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. You will work closely with our dentists and support team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene assessments and periodontal evaluations.

Provide scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments.

Take and interpret dental radiographs as required.

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.

Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.

Collaborate with the dental team to deliver outstanding patient experiences.

Adhere to all infection prevention and control protocols.
Qualifications

Current registration and good standing with the applicable Dental Hygienists Association/College.

Current CPR certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
